The International Olympic Committee admitted Russian athletes to the 2024 Games in Paris in a neutral status. However, at least 10 of them support the war against Ukraine. Road and track cyclist Tamara Dronova, trampoline jumper Angela Bladtseva, cyclist Alena Ivanchenko, canoeists Aleksei Korovashkov and Olesia Romasenko, swimmer Evgenii Somov, tennis players Mirra Andreeva, Pavel Kotov, Diana Shnaider and Elena Vesnina — all of them either performed in the temporarily occupied Crimea after 2014 or participated in propaganda events and tournaments in support of the occupiers, such as the tournament dedicated to the "reunification of Crimea with Russia", or have links to the military, or Russian security agencies, or pro-war actions on social media. Despite the protests of Ukraine and its allies, athletes from Russia will be at the Olympics — officially, they will be called "individual neutral athletes". Any symbols of Russia are prohibited.

Pyvykha Mountain is the pearl of the Poltava region 😍 Let’s discover one of the most picturesque places in Ukraine — Mount Pyvykha! It is located in the Poltava region, not far from the village of Hradyzk and the shores of the Kremenchuk Reservoir. Pyvykha is the highest point on the left bank of the Dnipro — its height reaches about 168 metres above sea level! Its age is estimated at 2 million years. According to legends, the mountain has a unique energy and is a place of strength. It is said here you can feel harmony with nature and replenish your vital energy reserves. It is especially magical at sunset — the colours of the sky and water create an unforgettable sight! 🌄 Photos: dovkola.media / Instagram

A new installation was opened in London to honour the memory of Ukrainian athletes who died due to Russia’s full-scale invasion. 487 is the number of known victims, but the actual number may be even higher. Surrounding the installation is sports equipment representing the disciplines of the fallen athletes. The installation is launched with the participation of Ukrainian athletes, Minister of State for Europe Stephen Doughty, the Foreign Office, Ambassadors and Embassies of Germany, the USA, and France, and the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain. To Russia, culture, art, and architecture hold no value, and the City Palace of Culture "Ukrainian House" in Mariupol is vivid proof of that. This once vibrant hub of events and activity is now in ruins, another loss for Ukraine. Russia's legacy is one of death and destruction. The senseless devastation of places like the Ukrainian House is just one of the many acts committed by Russia to obliterate the culture of Ukraine. We can't let Russian evil spread its poisonous sprouts even further. We must stop Russia and bring peace back to all of Ukraine's territory.

Unexpected visitors at the National Antarctic Scientific Center of Ukraine 🐧❄️ Why unexpected? The penguins leave Galindez Island for the winter, which is currently in full swing in the Antarctic. At this time, only lone guests can be seen here. Yet, here they are! The scientists suggest that the penguins were waiting for the storm's end nearby in the island's safety and had already left. But who knows? Maybe they just wanted to visit Ukrainians 🇺🇦 Photos: Anna Soina / the National Antarctic Scientific Center of Ukraine
