🏥 Helping together! This week began with a tragedy for all Ukrainians: the buildings of NSCH "Ohmatdyt" were destroyed by targeted strikes of Russian missiles. The enemy once again underestimated what Ukrainian unity is — the entire country came together to help on the spot as well as promptly having begun fundraising. 💰 The "Ohmatdyt" Foundation reports that over ₴360 million was collected in a few days — over ₴300 million by UNITED24 and monobank (a record amount for the ‘jars’ at a record pace) and over ₴60 million came through Tabletochki CF Since Monday, the #ITUkraineAssociation has been constantly updating the donations list of the industry which has been picked up by the specialised and general media, business and public opinion leaders. As of Friday afternoon, the Ukrainian IT industry attributed over ₴120 million—about a third of the total raised amount—of which ₴40 million came from the #ITUMember and #ITUPartner companies: 🤲🏻 ₴10m from Favbet Tech (Favbet company group) 🤲🏻 ₴3m each from Mercedes-Benz AG Ukraine (an UkrAVTO company, is the official Ukraine Distributor), Glovo, Trinetix 🤲🏻 ₴2m from Payoneer Україна 🤲🏻 ₴1.5m from EPAM Systems 🤲🏻 ₴1m each from Intellias, NovaPay and Nova Digital (a Nova Global Group), SoftServe Ukraine’s 'Open Eyes' Charity Fund, N-iX, Uklon, Asters, MGID UA, Avenga Ukraine, Miratech and GlobalLogic 🤲🏻 ₴500k each from Sigma Software Group, VUSO Private Stock Insurance Company, Ciklum, and Room 8 Group 🤲🏻 ₴300k from SPD Technology 🤲🏻 ₴100k from Alcor 🤲🏻 ₴25k from Diya 🤲🏻 ₴32k from Mate academy We extend our deepest respect and gratitude to all colleagues who joined in for the fundraiser, ensuring the future of the leading medical facility for Ukrainian children. 🫶🏻 Dear ticketed #UTCD online participant, we’ll have you know that you helped kids by… well, simply watching the Conference stream! Per our stated (lnkd.in/guj35ymC) intention, the IT Ukraine Association transferred the proceeds from the yan.ua/l/UTCD online tickets to the Charity Partner, Fund "Your Support (Твоя опора)". 🏥 The Foundation has been implementing projects to help children with congenital heart defects in Ukraine for 10 years, and has also systematically provided humanitarian aid since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine. To date, the Fund has collected more than ₴790 million and provided assistance to people and medical institutions in 24 regions of Ukraine. The fund supported more than 7.6 thousand children, 135 hospitals, 77 orphanages and shelters. Children are the most vulnerable category. They have already survived the horrors of war and are still under its impact. In order to ameliorate the lasting consequences, now as well as in the future, the Family Centre for Mental Health "Your Support" in Vorzel, Ukraine was established. The Centre aims to provide psychosocial assistance to the children of Buchansk district, to where the Fund will direct funds from the #ITUkraineAssociation. 💬 "The true value of the Association is measured not only by our achievements, but also by our willingness to support. The transfer of funds from the online conference tickets to the “Your Support” Charity Fund is our contribution to a better future for those who need it the most," ITU Executive Director Maria Shevchuk emphasizes. The Foundation has set its further development goal as follows: helping children and their families, limiting the psychological consequences of war, strengthening psychological stability and ensuring children’s harmonious development. 💬 "Children are our future and their mental health is something we have to take care of every day. It’s especially crucial now that the war has forced them to face non-child-like problems: PTSD, anxiety, depression, alienation, etc. I am truly grateful to the IT Ukraine Association for your support. Our partnership is a great example of how jointly we can do good," said the founder and general Valeriia Tatarchuk, Director of the "Your Support" Charity Fund. Ukrainian TechComms Days brought together PR specialists, marketers, SMM specialists and media working in the field of IT. The atmosphere synergy and support was remarked upon by all attendees, many of whom contributed to the charitable cause as well 🤲🏻

🤝🏻 This has been a second meeting of the ITU-initiated&organised quarterly format whereby the #ITUkraineAssociation’s C-suite, regional clusters and associations hold talks with Mykhailo Fedorov, Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development and Minister, and other Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine representatives. This time, the conversation centred around several key industry matters: 📌 Digitalisation of the specialists’ booking process, which was announced at the ITU General Meeting earlier this month and, since last week, is available to all entreprises the government recognises as critical, including some companies from the IT sector (lnkd.in/g8SVNNRK); 📌 The war by tech and the involvement of the IT sector in the innovations process, as Ukraine’s IT is already significantly contributing to bringing the military victory closer — working with the UAF (lnkd.in/gY4FeVkh), and fundraising (lnkd.in/gGXteuug); 📌 Education, transformed — businesses are ever more involved in the academic process, assisting Higher Education institutions (lnkd.in/gRriDwf8) to keep up with the latest in tech. Tech is one of the key development directions of the country, especially its economy. Per the Ministry of Digital Transformation, one IT employee supplies almost three jobs, and the industry overall constitutes over 40% of the country’s service exports (lnkd.in/gA5rG28z). This, as well as the Diia City eResidence prospects, was covered in ‘Digital Tiger: the Power of Ukrainian IT – 2023’ (lnkd.in/gr2BxKbA) and brought up during the discussion. 📍 The first meeting of this format took place in March (lnkd.in/gpgibEwA). These meetups are deemed highly important by both the IT Ukraine Association and the Ministry, engendering the productive state-business dialogue.
