🔬 Last week, Alena Sytenok, Manager of the Health Care Committee of the European Business Association, participated in the "PHARMBUDGET 2025" conference, where she raised several key issues important to Ukraine's pharmaceutical sector. Among them was the automatic recognition of GMP certificates issued by regulatory authorities from countries with strict regulatory standards and the importance of avoiding duplicative procedures that complicate and delay the delivery of medicines to patients, whose quality has already been verified by relevant EU institutions. She also emphasized the need for transparency in the preparation of secondary legislation for Ukraine's Law on Parallel Import of Medicines, which will come into effect in January 2025. As of the end of September 2024, the business community has not been introduced to any secondary legislation or its drafts required by this Law. We thank Proxima Research Int. for facilitating the dialogue between business and government to foster the development of the pharmaceutical sector!
