Between 6 and 8 November, the Dutch Embassy in Tanzania is organizing a trade mission to mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar focused on the ports and logistics sector. This timely initiative aligns with the booming business environment in Tanzania's ports and logistics industry, driven by the country's rapid economic growth. Tanzania is actively stimulating foreign investments in ports and logistics to leverage its favorable geographical location as a regional trade hub. The Embassy recognizes the significant opportunities this sector presents and has made it a priority through various initiatives, including regular meetings, newsletters, and webinars to engage with key stakeholders. The upcoming trade mission is the next step in the Embassy's efforts to facilitate greater cooperation and business development in Tanzania's ports and logistics industry. Dutch companies that are currently active or considering to do business in this sector are invited to participate. The program will include site visits to potential ports and dry ports, meeting with institutions and companies, as well as matchmaking sessions and networking receptions to promote dialogue and collaboration.
