Formosa Plastics Corporation and Taiwan Textile Research Institute are in collaboration on material solution of recycled carbon fiber/polycarbonate composites, which is a nonwoven made of recycled carbon fiber blended with polycarbonate fiber. Formosa Plastics Corporation (FPC) has signed a letter of intent for strategic cooperation with 國立中正大學 National Chung Cheng University, one of the most prestigious universities in Taiwan, to support carbon fiber materials for a new era of drone development.   Carbon fiber materials will be used to develop drone prototypes for aerial photography. It adopts a unique dual-tail tube rear-engine aerodynamic design, which not only ensures flight stability, but also increases the available space on the fuselage, thus increasing the possibility of installing avionics and aerial photography equipment.
