Meet our B2C Product Development, Keting Chen aka Coco For over a decade, Coco has been a dedicated member of the #Fanterco team. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Soochow University in Taipei City. Prior to joining Fanterco, she worked as a salesperson in the insurance industry. During our interview, Coco shared how different the work environment at Fanterco is compared to her previous job. At the insurance company, teamwork was the norm, with everyone collaborating in meetings. However, at Fanterco, Coco often works independently on her tasks. Her daily activities follow a three-year cycle, starting each day by checking customer emails for product details. She also designs posters and images for Facebook, Instagram, and Google ads. Working at a small-sized business like Fanterco has allowed Coco to become highly skilled in using Google, Facebook, and Instagram ads. One of her specialties is finding key opinion leaders (KOLs) to launch effective advertising campaigns. Despite of all her experience, Coco found leading a team to be her toughest challenge. Managing a small team, she grappled with honing her leadership skills and navigating the generational differences in thinking, communication, and work habits. One of her favorite parts of working at Fanterco is the annual company trips. The destinations are diverse, alternating between domestic and international locations each year. Additionally, Fanterco’s culture of avoiding overtime (OT) is rare in Taiwanese corporate life, allowing Coco to maintain a healthy work-life balance. This unique work culture makes Fanterco a special place for Coco, where she can thrive both professionally and personally. Over her 10 years at Fanterco, Coco has grown immensely, from becoming a pro at digital advertising to tackling the hurdles of leadership. Our commitment is best illustrated by a recent project involving a long-term knitwear customer. The primary material is a luxurious 3% Cashmere blend top-dyed yarn, rarely kept in stock due to its high cost and "born-dyed" nature. The number of colors involved each season could reach 40 , and all these colors are used across various styles. Every season, our customer's design team dedicates full efforts to picking these colors, either according to the current fashion trends or extended changes from the colors used in previous seasons. Of course, some classic colors could be repeatedly used every couple of years. For developing season SS25, our customer requested a color book of the 3% Cashmere blend yarn, so they could more easily select the colors without a matching issue. However, as mentioned above, this kind of premium yarn is rarely kept in stock, and consequently, no color card/book is available. However, our Client Representative Heather Luo had foreseen such needs. Over the past years, she has ensured that the color swatches of the yarn are carefully kept in stock. Honestly, the "collection" is spectacular, just like a spectrum over the rainbow! Her thoughtfulness and foresight meant that when our customer needed that specific color, we could respond immediately, avoiding any delay. Now, Teresa Lin another exemplary member of our Client Representative team, is organizing these swatches into a comprehensive color book, meticulously dividing them into different tones.
