A pair of guests arrive at Westworld with varying expectations; Bernard and Theresa Cullen debate about the recent host anomaly; a behaviour engineer tweaks the emotions of a madam in Sweetwater's brothel; a cocky programmer pitches a new narrative.

Elsie and Stubbs pursue a missing host; Teddy gets a new back story, which sets him off in pursuit of a new villain; Bernard investigates the origins of madness within the hosts; William finds an attraction that he would like to pursue.

Dolores joins William and Logan on a bounty hunt in the badlands; the Man in Black finds a critical clue; Dr Ford and Theresa discuss the future of the park; Maeve is troubled by a recurring vision.

Dolores, Logan and William reach Pariah and are recruited for a dangerous mission; the Man in Black meets an unlikely ally in his quest to unlock the maze.

Maeve gets some answers by using her charms. Elsie finds signs of possible sabotage, and The Man in Black and Teddy run afoul of a garrison.
