This is a fantastic first game! I didn't expect the ending--it's super cool!
Thank you so much! It makes me so happy to know that people still play and enjoy it.
I actually found out about it because I was exploring the interactive fiction hashtag on Blue Sky, and your one year tweet about this game was at the top. Thanks for sharing it there! C:
hey, i loved this! thank you! gonna recommend it to folks. really cool rumination on the interaction between expression of body/self with the social/physical.
Thank you, that's so awesome of you! I'm glad it resonated.
I really enjoyed moody build up with a satisfying (and terrifying) payoff! Well done!
Thank you for playing it, that means a lot to me!
ahhh i should pick up Bitsy again. this is beautiful
This is super cute! I love the color palette and I love the idea behind the game. Sentient plant life has so many implications. We already have so much discourse about the morality of eating animals- what would we eat if plants were sentient too?
This is absolutely gorgeous, especially for a first game! Using Bitly is so much harder than it looks.
Thank you for such a thoughtful comment! Some of the aversion and transformative paranoia present is inspired by Han Kang's The Vegetarian, which I found to be personally impactful.
oh wow this is really fun!! i loved the vibe of the whole game and the idea is super original! Ill wait and see all the cool stuff you make next!
This is lovely, everything comes together so beautifully!
Thank you! It's made me more excited to experiment with things like room changes and variable dialogue.
This was a beautiful experience! Thank you so much for sharing it.
Thank you for taking the time to play it! I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)
Re-entering the keycard pickup scene causes a softlock. Other than that, love the game.
Thank you! I've updated the game so that the sparkle there will teleport you back to Section 7 if you re-enter.
Enjoyable interactive fiction, thank you
Thank you for playing it!
That is great!
sooooo incredible!!!! everything detail about this is so thoughtful - i love the color palette, the vines creeping down the walls, the memories so seamlessly woven in, the way the transformation slowly dawns on you - this hit me really deeply as i think about the last two years of starting transition while living alone - thank you for sharing this with us :)
Thank you so very much! I'm touched to know that so many of the deliberate decisions and emotions, and the themes of isolation contrasted with transformation come through.
Really beautifully written and compelling!
Thank you! I haven't written anything complete in so long, it felt nice.
Immersive and (if you'll forgive the pun) ephemeral. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for taking the time to play it and comment. It means quite a lot!
Absolutely incredible. Loved this meditative little game. So thoughtful.
