He is a professor in Gumushane University, Turkey. His doctoral thesis "The Theory of Critical Media Literacy" has been a coherent frame for the field of media literacy, with intertwining pragmatics, critical theory and communication etnography. He has many articles and book sections in Turkish and English. He loves and works in, philosophy of History, post-colonial studies, sociology of Jurgen Habermas, philosophy of Immanuel Kant, Al-Mawdudi, pragmatics, ciritical media studies, classical political economy, genetics and mechanical engineering.
