Sourcing tips: How to get on board at least 100 of qualified suppliers at each trade show. For me, participating in trade shows has always felt like a strategic operation, whether domestic or international. The moment I step onto the exhibition floor, I'm armed with a well-thought-out route to efficiently navigate through the show. Every event provides maps and exhibitor guides, and on the first day, I familiarize myself with the layout. After exploring on the first day, I gain a general understanding of the event. Later that night, I meticulously review each supplier's information and make note of the ones that catch my interest. I plan which booths to visit the next day. Here's my tips to share: 1. Leveraging my knowledge of manufacturing processes, I aim to streamline communication with suppliers, swiftly gauging their scale and capabilities. 2. I make an effort to engage with the sales representatives at the booths, asking pertinent, industry-specific questions. 3. Post-event, I dedicate time to organize my findings and notes. 4. I maintain a database to keep track of contacts. 5. Regularly refine and update the list of potential products and suppliers. 6. Especially in domestic events, I add contacts on WeChat. To make a lasting impression, I take pictures of the booths and send them via WeChat to the supplier's contact person. This approach ensures not only a high volume of supplier contacts but also efficient communication. Each trade show is like a series of well-coordinated battles, and my strategic approach helps me consistently achieve my goals of establishing valuable connections and finding innovative products. Ensuring our products stand out in terms of quality, design, and customer satisfaction, we aim to capture a more significant chunk of the market, both locally and internationally. ✒ Expand distribution #network: We aspire to expand our distribution network by acquiring new partnerships with partnerships with retailers and sales agents across different countries. By establishing a solid and extensive distribution network, we aim to make our products easily accessible to customers worldwide. ✒ Enhance #brand awareness: Our long-term goal is to establish our company as a trusted and reputable brand in the industry. We aim to consistently deliver high-quality and innovative furniture solutions, maintain strong customer relations, and receive positive customer reviews. This will enhance our brand image and credibility, further driving customer loyalty and business growth. Of course, these are only a few examples, but it is important to understand where and for what you are participating.
