We’re so inspired to see our Regenerative Community Design Canvas creating impact worldwide! A few weeks ago, Biblioteca de la Creatividad in Colombia brought our open-source framework to life, guiding young entrepreneurs from Quiba, a rural neighborhood in Ciudad Bolívar, Bogotá, on a journey of discovery, connection, and vision. Through mindfulness practices like yoga and meditation, they explored Quiba’s unique potential, linking personal motivations with the neighborhood’s rich social, economic, and cultural landscape. Workshops like these help participants see how their projects can drive meaningful, sustainable change in their communities. By transforming this architectural gem into a playful tower on the beach, we've turned its walls into a canvas for creativity—from lightweight mesh reminiscent of fishing nets to a room filled with pink plastic balls for kids to enjoy. Play is at the heart of this concept—reminding us that even the most stoic structures can be reimagined with a sense of wonder and fun. Given our organization’s cultural and geographic connection to the Middle East, this past year has posed immense challenges for our team, our community, and humanity as a whole.
