Talk:Podcast 6B
I'm pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting another podcast so soon! If nobody else is doing it, I could transcribe the narrator patter... Completed. I kept the bad grammar that Cecil uses and wrote down exactly what I heard, which is how I think it should be. However, feel free to change it if this is unacceptable.--tehbagel 17:49, 13 Apr 2006 (CDT)/tehbagel 17:31, 13 Apr 2006 (CDT)
OK wow...I just looked at the Podcast info, and here is what it says: "Includes "Contrecoup," "I'm Sorry Rosalyn," "Sketchy Galore," "Chaos By Design," and "Last Name T" - The Last Car plus much more." I guess The Last Car was supposed to be on here, along with a song called "I'm Sorry Rosalyn".--tehbagel 17:33, 13 Apr 2006 (CDT)
As Flansy said in the newsletter "Podcast 6C Perhaps...?" Although I was dissapointed. The Last Car songs were pretty... interesting. (Turnip) 22:27, 14 Apr 2006 (CDT)
Does anyone know what concerts the live songs are from and what happened to The Last Car song(s?) and others. Just hope this isn't the last podcast until the tour is over!
I'm only guessing, but could Clap Your Hands be from here Shows/2004-07-02? Maybe. Haven't heard that show, but its description pretty well fits the song on the Podcast. --Valerie 10:44, 20 Apr 2006 (CDT)
- No. It's definitely the Almanac version. I don't have the whole thing but it was a Free Tune a short time after the album was released. They seem to have played the song like this for the whole tour. - Whirrrlwind (Woosh!) 10:49, 20 Apr 2006 (CDT)
Damn Good Times (Live)[edit]
Could the live version of Damn Good Times possibly be from this show? It would seem to make sense, since that show was never available on They Might Be Downloads. --Imaginary Friend Boy 11:58, 6 May 2006 (CDT)
- If it wasn't available on the show store, they probabaly had some recording issues. The odds that they would choose a show not for download to use a recording from makes little to no sense, considering most other recordings they used were from available shows or Almanac. -CapitalQ ♫ talk ♪ 12:01, 6 May 2006 (CDT)
- Months ago I sent an e-mail asking about that particular show, and was told that "a technical snafu prevented about 20% of the show from recording" and that a lot of the show would be available on the Clock Radio. So I figured it might be possible that one of the songs could end up on the podcast as well. I was just wondering if anyone had, for example, their own copy of the Cleveland performance to prove or deny it. --Imaginary Friend Boy 12:29, 6 May 2006 (CDT)
