- "Prepare" was originally recorded for and almost included on Nanobots.[1]
- The song briefly debuted on the They Might Be Giants app a week before its official release, but was quickly replaced with "Black Ops (Alt. Version)".[2] This, along with the fact that the music video for "Black Ops (Alt. Version)" is a rearrangement of the music video for "I Hear A New World", suggests that this song could have been held back for a week at the last minute.
