From This Might Be A Wiki
Jeremy Galante[1]

Jeremy Galante is an Ohio-based animator who has collaborated with David Cowles on multiple different music videos as co-director. Galante's first music videos for They Might Be Giants were Cells and Put It To The Test, and since then he has co-directed many more music videos.

Galante has collaborated with Cowles even outside the realm of They Might Be Giants. He has directed videos for Sesame Street and designed and animated e-cards for American Greetings. Galante said of Cowles in a 2013 interview:

I recognized his work from reading these magazines over the years... We had a pretty immediate connection. [...] David and I share the desire to keep creating, even when we're not making any money on a short film. It's just in us. Doing the TMBG work was new and fun. We usually have about 2 to 3 months for every project.[2]

Galante has stated that education is his "primary focus", and currently teaches at PennWest Edinboro as assistant professor of animation. His animations, many of them in collaboration with Cowles, have been screened at nearly 100 different film festivals.[3]
