quitting all my applications and turning my computer’s brightness down to 1% before folding my charging cable 90° to the left and slowly plugging it into the 3rd usb-c slot specifically and repeating the unplug-replug process until the symbol changes from the “charging-on-hold” plug symbol to the “actively-charging” lightning bolt and then walking away from my computer for no less than 10 minutes lest it sense my desperation and decide to shut down and refuse to turn back on for literally 3 days
