A downloadable game for Windows and Android

UPDATE (5/15/23):

Due to a severe lack of motivation from the current state of the game as of recently, I'm not going to be working on this project anymore, so there will be no full game for this coming out. My motivation to work on this game got shot down due to the amount of bugs in the game that I don't know how to fix, most of the features being half-baked, me not being happy with the art style, and the fact that this game has nothing gameplay-wise to set it apart from others. But, I'll still keep the demo up for you to skrew around in.

This demo only contains the first level of the game. I wanted to quickly get the first level of the game AND this demo done as soon as I can. Also, this is the first actual project I'm working on (other than game jams and experimental projects,) so expect a lot of bugs in the demo

And also, this game was tested on an Oculus/Meta Quest 2, so I'm not too sure on how this will play/control on an Index or Vive.

Metro Meltdown is a singleplayer VR shooter where your only and current desire is to escape the city you live in due to a vast variety of reasons.

Also, in the main menu, you can find four sandbox levels for you to mess around in. Some of them being the test levels I made for this buggy mess of a game.

In This Demo:

  • Bust through robots with around 4-5 weapons
  • Mess around in four sandbox modes, some of them being test levels I made for Metro Meltdown
  • Umm... that's all I can think of and shove on this list lol

Was fine! Not a buggy mess, just very basic. But a solid demo to build a game from.

Thanks! :D

and about it being basic, i do have a bigger variety of levels planned, like a chase sequence, a couple wave-based levels, and I also made a grappling hook :)

nice!
