Benchmark Korat Site Drives Sustainable Water Initiative Benchmark Korat Site has launched a CSR project in collaboration with the Department of Industrial Works (DIW) to address water quality challenges at Chai Mongkhon Health Promoting Hospital. 💨 The initiative, titled "Benchmark CSR: Joining Hands to Develop a Sustainable Water System," focuses on improving water access and safety for the hospital and local community. ❤️ Key project components include: 💦 Installation of advanced water filtration systems to remove scale and chemical impurities. 💦 Deployment of reverse osmosis (RO) technology to purify water for medical equipment, patient care, and general consumption. 💦 Implementation of wastewater treatment solutions using Grease Trap to protect the environment. By enhancing water quality, this project aims to safeguard the health of hospital staff and patients while fostering a sustainable future for the community. To enhance the event, we provided refreshments for 120 guests. The cost of these refreshments was covered by our sustainable recycling program. Benchmark Thailand is committed to environmental sustainability, with a focus on waste reduction. We compost food scraps from our canteen to create a bio-extract and compost that nourish our on-site gardens. This practice allows us to minimize the use of chemical fertilizers and reduce our environmental footprint. The accompanying images showcase our staff members harvesting morning glory plants cultivated using our fermented bio-extract and compost derived from food scraps. These homegrown vegetables were then prepared and served as a complimentary lunch for our employees in the canteen.

🏆 **Benchmark Thailand Wins 2 IPC Hand Soldering Competition Thailand 2024 Awards!** 🏆 We are proud to announce that Benchmark Thailand has secured two prestigious awards at the IPC Hand Soldering Competition Thailand 2024. Representing 15 companies from Thailand, contestants were challenged to rework and assemble according to IPC-A-610, Class 3 criteria. Judged by IPC Master Instructors (MIT) from the IPC training center, participants had 50 minutes to complete the task, evaluated on functionality, compliance, and overall product quality. **This year's top honors go to:** ● **First Place:** **Khun Areeya Mukkrathok**, from Benchmark Korat Site, scoring 601 out of 643. Areeya will advance to compete for the World Championship title in November at Productronica in Munich. ● **Second Place:** Representative from SANMINA-SCI SYSTEMS (THAILAND) LTD., with a score of 557. ● **Third Place:** **Khun Tidarat Phamorn**, from Benchmark Ayutthaya Site, scoring 531. **This is the fourth consecutive year that our Benchmark Korat site has won first place in the IPC Thailand hand soldering competition, and the first year we’ve won two awards in the same competition. It also marks the first award for our Ayutthaya site, highlighting the high standards of our hand soldering and rework skills at Korat, and the significant improvement at Ayutthaya.** Congratulations to **Khun Areeya** and **Khun Tidarat** on their remarkable achievements! Congratulations to Benchmark Korat Site on their safety achievement! On June 19, 2024, Mr. Thurdkeit Sawatpanit (Senior Manufacturing Manager) and Ms. Phanchita Nuanthananiwat (Senior Safety Officer) represented Benchmark Korat Employees received the "Zero Accident Award 2024" from Minister of Labor. The Zero Accident Campaign is a campaign to encourage business establishments to be committed to preventing workplace accidents. Based on the idea that "Accidents related to work can be prevented". by reducing statistics of hazards in business establishments to zero. Through continuous planning and management of Safety, Occupational Health, and working environmental. it also results in safety culture for safe and healthy worker. This achievement is a testament to the Korat site's unwavering commitment to safety. Having been assessed and meeting the Platinum Level requirements for the eighth consecutive year, with a staggering 30,730,998 certificate hours awarded (with zero lost-time accident).
