The Decepticons arrive on Junk to claim the treasure.

Synopsis

Somewhere in the blackness of space, the entity known as the Seeker senses that the four objects of his search are converging on one location: one of them is on a remote planet, and the other three are heading directly for it. This is all thanks to the unwitting efforts of one lowly Junkion, and the Seeker remarks to himself that he will honor that robot for making what is to come possible, even if he cannot be part of it...

On the planet of Junk, Rodimus Prime is able to quickly conclude that the Decepticons must have been monitoring their communications frequency when Galvatron, Cyclonus and Scourge arrive and demand that he hand over the "treasure" they heard he had come to the planet to collect. A firefight erupts even as Rodimus attempts to explain that the treasure holds no value for Galvatron, but the Decepticon leader pays him no heed, so Rodimus hands the piece of metal to Scrapheap and tells Kup and Wreck-Gar to protect him. Confused and ill-equipped to deal with the responsibility suddenly thrust upon him, Scrapheap falters, but Kup gets him moving, and Wreck-Gar transforms to motorcycle mode to carry him to safety. The two Junkions prove more than a match for the Decepticon firepower, switching from robot to bike mode, from rider to ridden, and back again, but Kup lacks their agility, and is taken down by a blast. Galvatron pounces on him, and demands that the treasure be handed over in exchange for Kup's life...
