Transformers Collaborative Tonkanator is a yellow Tonka-branded redeco of The Transformers Devastator. The gift set containing Tonkanator's components was exclusive to Target in the United States and was officially revealed on June 24, 2022.

This release retains the mold changes from the Vintage G1 release. Additionally, this version of the set includes only one of the "Rotor Blade" drill projectiles that were included with Scavenger and Bonecrusher; the instructions assign it to Power Digger, and instead give Mega Dozer the single-tipped missile originally associated with Mixmaster.

As with earlier releases of Devastator, Tonkanator's box art features flipped artwork of the constituent bots's robot modes. With the exception of Motor Load and Mega Hauler, this carries over to the artwork used for them in the instructions, which also features, frustratingly, flipped diagrams for how to apply stickers to the set. Additionally, Motormix is generously depicted with an extra Autobot insignia on the leg in the instructions and Tonkanator is given an extra one on their chestplate on the box art. The step that should show how to extend and rotate upwards Mega Dozer's feet is absent from the instructions.

• Before being officially revealed, Tonkanator was discovered by fans in store listings under the Hasbro codename "Project Yellow".
