Renegade Rhetoric

RenegadeRhetoric Farewell Thruster.jpg

Cy-Kill got himself thrown onto the prison moon of Gobotron to spring his Renegades free so that he could have the manpower to field Rogue Star and his fleet of Thrusters. He did so by engaging two Command Centers with his lone Thruster and allowing himself to be defeated, though not before destroying one of the Command Centers and severely injuring several Guardians. He initiated the Thruster's self-destruct to prevent its secrets from falling into Guardian hands.

The bulk of this Thruster fleet was eventually defeated while attempting to disrupt a Guardian mining operation.

After Cy-Kill developed fast-growing mutant plants, Small Foot and Sparky snuck onto a Thruster and stole the seeds, allowing Professor Von Joy to reverse engineer a defoliant. Turbo clogged the weapons on Cy-Kill's Thruster with said vines and forced a Renegade retreat.

Lightning struck the Thruster where the captured Scooter was being interrogated via Brainstormer, leading to a brain-swap between Cy-Kill and Scooter.

While Cop-Tur was, temporarily, a super-genius, he slipped and accidentally activated a Reality Destabilizer while inside a Thruster.

When an alien super-computer abducted most of the Guardians and Renegades from a rogue planet, Cop-Tur was left alone to man the Renegade's Thruster. He was harassed by the Guardian's Command Center, which Cy-Kill speculated was manned by Turbo.

Cy-Kill considered BuggyMan quite a capable officer, often leaving him in command of a Thruster.

The Renegades detected a primitive Guardian ship returning from a deep-space exploration mission and managed to bring most of the crew on-board Cy-Kill's Thruster. Once aboard, Cy-Kill convinced two of the Guardians, Decker Decker and Vain Train, to join the Renegades. A Guardian counter-attack, led by the Guardian who got away, allowed the loyal Guardians to escape on their original ship and forced the Renegades to retreat into Hyperspace. Renegade Rhetoric (1)

Go-Bots comic

After the Command Center escaped the combined might of an army of Renegade Go-Bots and Zod, Cy-Kill produced the Thruster, loading the Renegades onboard. The ship was able to overtake the Guardian craft before converting to a robotic configuration, grabbing the Command Center with its massive arms. However, its prey unleashed its full afterburners on Thruster; the Command Center was able to escape into hyperspace, before doubling back to the far side of Gobotron. Go-Bots #3 However, Thruster was able to track the Command Center as it travelled to the organic core of the planet—the long-forgotten Earth. Thruster dropped off Zod and the other Renegades. Go-Bots #4

After the warring GoBots ended their conflict, Thruster and the Command Center transported the remaining crews back to Gobotron. Go-Bots #5
