Identity Crisis

Good question, especially since "Shattered Expectations" Laserbeak uses a gold and blue color scheme, which matches up better with the all-gold that "Buzzsaw" has. --Jeysie 12:22, 19 July 2009 (EDT)

That was my point, actually. That I think SG "Buzzsaw"'s gold color scheme matches up better with SE Laserbeak than SG "Laserbeak"'s red and white does. --Jeysie 12:30, 19 July 2009 (EDT)

Yes I understood that, but my point was what tells us that the red one is Laserbeak, while the gold one is Buzzsaw, both haven't been officially named. I think we should add that to the notes.Dead Metal 15:52, 19 July 2009 (EDT)

It is a damned question though. I say LIGBIR!:P But as you mentioned the SE Laserbeak matches the Buzzsaw a lot more than this red bird, was his name officially revealed as Laserbeak or did we just assume it's him? Expectations Laserbeak was yellow and blue to match Armada Laserbeak. Regular Shattered glass LB and BS seem to have been created with no connection/thought back to that at all, simply reflecting the colors of the Autobot tapes Steeljaw and Ramhorn. Since the assignment of colors to SG LB and BS seems to have disregarded Expectations I think the correct choice was made to follow Occum's razor and assume the red one is still LB and the gold one BS untill there's any reason to think otherwise --76.28.72.27 16:10, 19 July 2009 (EDT)

As the originator of this page I just called it as I saw it at the time - Red Laserbeak and Gold Buzzsaw - but I have no real attachment to them being that way round. I always saw SE Laserbeak as a separate character, tbh, though given that they're both essentially one-panel cameos, it's hard to call either way. I'm certainly not going to cry foul if the pictures get swapped around, I'll go with consensus. --Emvee 08:50, 28 July 2009 (EDT)
