Tailslide

Tailslide is a Mini-Con from the Legends of the Microns portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Wild and cruel with a mean sense of humor, Tailslide (テイルスライド Tairusuraido) is a member of the Speed Chaser Team. Along with Midship and Top Gear, he hunts down Mini-Cons on Earth to capture them and return them to their original purpose as servants of Unicron.

Fiction

Tailslide was one of many Mini-Cons who awoke on his own on Earth after the crash of the Exodus. He was pursued by Top Gear, who used a Fixer Bug drone to reformat his mind and body, turning him into a cruel fellow minion of Unicron. Linkage Part 2

Tailslide was reactivated at the Deccan Plateau in India, where he immediately used his transfixation beam ability to force-transform Servo and lock him in car mode. However, he wasn't able to do much more, as the evil Mini-Cons were forced away by the arrival of Scavenger. Linkage Part 4

As part of the Speed Chaser Team's combined Magnawing mode, Tailslide attacked Falcia, but was chased off by Combusta. Linkage Part 6 Sideways later presented Tailslide and the others with a large capsule. Linkage Part 8 It contained the insane Bulk Ravenus, whom the Speed Chaser Team sicced on their enemies. Linkage Part 9 With their mission a success, they retreated, Linkage Part 10 only to be knocked out of the air by Redline. Linkage Part 11

Tailslide later watched as Mini-Cons began waking up all over Earth, and stated that their mission would've gone a lot smoother if they had known there were so many of them. Linkage Part 12 He was not seen during the final battle with Unicron, but it's very likely that he was there, and very unlikely that he survived. Linkage Part 13

Tailslide (Mini-Con, 2003)

Legends of the Microns Tailslide is a redeco of the Race Mini-Con Team memeber Downshift, transforming into a Le Mans Prototype-style race car. He can also combine with Midship and Top Gear to form the back end of the Magnawing jet. Like (almost) all Mini-Cons, he has a Powerlinx socket that enables him to be attached to any figure with a compatible Powerlinx plug.

He was only available with the first run of the fourth Legends of the Microns DVD in Japan, and came with the fourth installment of the Linkage comic. Later pressings of the disc, however, did not include the toys or comic.
