You will never survive my deadly robo-scorpions, technological terrors and er... well... uhh... my... bigger, more atomic versions of these things!

Perfect assistants for the immoral Decepticon mad scientist on the go, Shockwave's drones are multipurpose machines that help out their master in his laboratory. Keeping the lab clean, supplying equipment and tools, detecting snooping Autobots, it's all in a day's work for these little guys, even if their co-creator is one of those blasted Autobots now.

Shockwave and Wheeljack created the drones as lab assistants, showing off their prototype at Maccadam's. Maccadam's While Wheeljack still enjoyed their dancing, Shockwave was quick to grow out of it, finding the ability pointless and annoying. Parley

Shockwave had three drones attending him as he worked on activating Vector Sigma. Sabotage Several drones were on the Magnetic disruptor ship at the North Pole and gave Thundercracker blank demanding stares, serving to shatter the Seeker's nerve. A good number of them were smashed by Grimlock as they tried to fight the intruder.

Unbeknownst to the Autobots, one of them survived the ship's destruction and managed to sneak onboard the cargo plane hijacked to carry Grimlock and Bumblebee. The Extinction Event It spied on the Autobots and served as a tracking beacon to the Ark. Awaken Sleeping Giants The drone eventually returned to its master's side once the Decepticon fleet arrived. A number of drones were seen on the Decepticon mission to hijack the moon. Bad Moon Rising Shockwave had them dance (at his reluctance) to satisfy Wheeljack during a peace talk, though he grew quick to turn them on the Autobots once a fight broke out. Parley

Once they got back to Cybertron, the Decepticons manufactured titanic versions of the drones to corral the Autobots. Battle For Cybertron III Shockwave sent several normal-sized drones to preoccupy Bumblebee while he dealt with Cheetor, only to be destroyed by the scout. Meanwhile, the giant drones ultimately wound up destroyed by Optimus Prime and the other Autobots. Battle For Cybertron IV

Notes

Cyberverse-Shockwave-Turbo-Changer.jpg
  • The drones are based on Shockwave's spider tank alternate mode, with small changes to differentiate them from him, such as a pair of small claws.
  • Shockwave's Tiny Turbo Changer alternate mode is based on the drone, instead of his actual spider tank mode.
