Ransack (Animated)

Ransack is an Autobot from the Animated continuity family.

Ransack is best pals with Crumplezone. Unfortunately, trouble always finds the two, no thanks to Ransack. Crumplezone is dimwitted, but impressionable, and Ransack is a terrible influence. Despite his history of petty crime, Ransack is thankfully not ambitious enough to be a real nuisance.

He transforms into a Cybertronian bike.

Crumplezone and Ransack were chased by the Transtech cop Cheetor, who sought to arrest the two for "moving violations". The two tried to flee, but Cheetor proved a persistent pursuer, and when Crumplezone wound up shooting off a ramp and losing control, Ransack was unfortunate enough to find himself crushed underneath his big buddy at the bottom of the crater his impact had left. Once Cheetor caught up with the duo and proclaimed their arrest, Crumple and Ransack only had one question: "What did we do?"

Thanks to his needless chase of innocent Transformers and other impulsive actions, Cheetor was demoted to Iacon Central. Moving Violations

Notes

• Ransack is, of course, based on Cybertron Ransack. He shares a body-type with Rattletrap and Stampy, the former of whom was based on the BotCon 2006-exclusive Rattrap figure, which was in turn a redeco of Cybertron Ransack. Round and round the homage goes!
• Cybertron Ransack has black markings around his eyes that evoke a domino mask. Animated Ransack actually just wears a domino mask!
