Thanks to the destruction of Unicron, an avatar of Primus, and a tainted Matrix, Primax 984.0 Gamma created many tangent universes. Primax 207.0 Epsilon, however, arose sixteen years after the other tangents, but the root cause was before the cause of the other universes. For reasons unknown, Primax 207.0 Epsilon possessed a nearly identical frequency to Gargent 984.08 Alpha. As two universes cannot occupy the same frequency, the Primax universe "overwrote" the Gargent universe, causing the Cataclysm. Prior to that, it had already destroyed Primax 1291.0 Zeta, according to the TransTechs' scans. Withered Hope The Complete AllSpark Almanac

Nexus Prime components Skyfall and Landquake arrived in 207.0 Epsilon while on their journey to reunification. Revelations Part 6 They linked up with another of their members, Breakaway, before continuing on their multiversal journey to Nexus 208.0 Epsilon. Crossing Over: Part 6

The Jackpot and Hubcap of an unspecified Primax reality were deported by the TransTechs to Primax 207.0 Epsilon. Gone Too Far

After being sidetracked in Nexus 208.0 Epsilon, a team of GoBots from the collapsing universe who were sent to investigate the Cataclysm finally arrived in 207.0 Epsilon. Their efforts to stop the cosmic occurrence were unsuccessful. Withered Hope

When multiple odd occurrences happened across the multiverse, the Transcendent Technomorphs' search led them to Primax 207.0 Epsilon, where they saw Ultra Magnus leading a force to invade the universe from Primax -408.24 Epsilon. Invasion Prologue Magnus proceeded to use his Terminus Blade to destroy Primax 207.0 Epsilon, leaving only its Earth intact, which he moved back to his home dimension in orbit of Cybertron. Invasion Also surviving were the orbiting starships Graviton and Talon, which ended up on prehistoric Earth of Primax -408.24 Epsilon. Invasion: Epilogue Shattered Time

The destruction of Primax 207.0 Epsilon caused unprecedented chaos throughout the multiverse, with large numbers of universes being forcibly fused together or ripped apart. Invasion: Epilogue The far-reaching effects of Ultra Magnus's villainy prompted High Chancellor Optimus Prime of TransTech Cybertron to form the Convoy. Invasion Prologue As he later justified to the public on TransTech Cybertron, the defeat of the Hytherion by the Alternity meant that the multiverse no longer had a natural deterrent to the spread of weakened and damaged universes. Thus, it fell to the TransTechs to mount an active response to the imbalance in the multiverse. Rook - Axiom Nexus News, 2015/05/08

Primax 207.0 Epsilon's destruction sent ripples through the Multiverse which kept Vector Prime busy. The quantum vacuum it occupied was quickly filled up by Primax 512.5 Gamma, another splinter of Primax 984.0 Gamma, and Gargent 984.08 Alpha was finally allowed to repair itself.
