Music video
The video for the single, released June 11, 2009, depicts the band performing in the Tomb of the Primes, with an alternate version incorporating scenes from the film as well. It makes use of a lot of special effects and filters, particularly the use of thermal cameras coupled with flashy imagery.
Notes
- "New Divide" was played live in Red Square for the Transformers: Dark of the Moon premiere in Moscow along with "Iridescent", "What I've Done", and other songs from Linkin Park's previous albums.
- "New Divide" is one of Linkin Park's most successful and highest charting singles to date, debuting at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States.
