Monoformer

- Monoformers are a subgroup of Transformers from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Transformers that have lost their ability to transform for whatever reason are known as Monoformers, Monoforms or just Monos. Those that have made the choice to reject their alternate mode are politically represented by the Militant Monoform Movement.

Demus suffered such from an extreme aversion to transformation that, as well as his transformation cog, he also had most of his kibble surgically removed and could become ill if he merely witnessed someone transforming. - Author James Roberts admitted that Monoformers were a cunning way to explain the Action Masters.[1] However this is by no means a hard and fast rule, as the Action Masters Rad, Rollout, Powerflash, and Jackpot were subsequently shown not to be Monoformers in Slaughterhouse.
