Notes
- Metrobase was originally, in what was for a long time the character's sole illustrated appearance (seen at the top of this article) drawn to resemble the Autobot Metroplex in a new white, light blue, and maroon color scheme. It looks vaguely similar to a Metroplex toy with light blue parts that appeared in a diorama display on the back of Zone-era toy packaging released in the Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers toyline, advertising the Micromasters (right). Whether this was an early mock-up of Metrotitan is uncertain, as the diorama display notably lacks the Decepticon Race Track Patrol Team (the only Micromaster team released in Japan as Decepticons).
- For Metrobase's appearance in "Metrowars", the character's color palette was revised to a more distinct lilac-based scheme, one of those previously used by Guido Guidi in the fleet of Titans seen briefly in the The Transformers: More than Meets the Eye annual.
