The Matrix Breaker (マトリクスブレイカー Matorikusu Bureikā) is the personal blade of the dimension-traveling villain Grand Scourge, rumored to be able to sever the link between an Autobot leader and their Matrix of Leadership.

At another point, Grand Scourge defeated Go Prime, presumably using the Matrix Breaker to slash off Go Prime's right foot. When Deadlock tried to attack, Grand Scourge easily turned the tables, and Deadlock was only able to defend himself against the Matrix Breaker with a sword salvaged from the ground at that moment. Unite Warriors
Summoned by Unicron to the Cybertron of 2021 in the G1 World, Grand Scourge carried the Matrix Breaker with him as he impersonated Black Convoy. Ruination Chapter, Part One He briefly put Baldigus under Unicron's control by striking him with the Matrix Breaker, then used it to cross blades with the real Black Convoy's Black Sword. - Coming only with the e-HOBBY-exclusive Unite Warriors Grand Scourge, the Matrix Breaker was redecoed from the sword included with Beast Hunters Ultimate Class Optimus Prime figure.
- This mold was also used to make the Combiner Slayer included with Combiner Hunters Arcee.
