Giga and Mega return as Overlord to settle the score with Ginrai once and for all.
Synopsis
Having been informed by Clouder of a "Chōkon Tower Chinese Restaurant" that's offering food at half price to Masterforce users, Ginrai and the Autobot Headmaster Juniors check it out and find it owned by Giga and Mega in a building looking like a familiar combination of jet and tank. The two explain that they've come back to life to finish their vendetta against Ginrai and spread fliers advertising their business in order to lure him in, and are again working with Devil Z, recovered from his previous defeat by absorbing the Legends World's energies. After letting Ginrai finish his meal so that they'll be at full strength for the battle, the villainous couple equip their new Masterforce suits and get ready to fight, pleasing Devil Z who reveals he's responsible for reviving them to help him with destroying the world. Ginrai questions why they'd do that, but Giga and Mega don't care who they have to work with as long as they get to settle things with Ginrai.
As the combatants get to their respective transtectors, Super Ginrai taunts his opponents that he's already seen what the Gigatank and Megajet can do at Bonapar Island, only for them to reveal that they've regained the ability to become Overlord, now as Headmasters. Ginrai remains confident he can win with his mastery of Ten-Chi-Jin Chōkon Power, but Overlord claims to have mastered a power beyond that of Ten-Chi-Jin—the wish-granting Zamojin power of the Legends World, also known as Shinchōkon! Using this energy, Overlord creates another Megajet and Gigatank out of thin air, allowing Mega to form the head of a second Overlord, and together "Overlord Giga" and "Overlord Mega" overwhelm Super Ginrai and Godbomber with their "Chōkon Double Kick Tornado". Ginrai is forced to call upon Rattrap and use his Getmaster powers to fire a beam of Jūchōkon, though it fails to impress and Overlord Giga counters with a "Chōkon Dis-Relive" missile barrage that Ginrai only deflects by combining into God Ginrai and using Godbomber's recently upgraded armor. However, the Overlords reveal that he's not the only one who can combine and use Shinchōkon to merge into a form dubbed "Overlord Tera". This prompts Devil Z to show up to gloat, when suddenly Doubleclouder subdues him with energon chains, the double agent having been loyal to Mayor Megatron from the start.
God Ginrai is brought down by Overlord Tera's mighty Chōkon Devil Fire, but when Rattrap urges him to fight on, he starts glowing with a mysterious light. Watching the battle, Metroplex recognizes it as the light of the Zamojin energy that brought him to this world—Ginrai has been imbued with Rattrap's latent Shinchōkon! Using Get On to draw upon both Jūchōkon and Shinchōkon from the rat, he covers his body in flames and uses a "Double Chōkon Fire Guts" tackle to take down Overlord, who admits defeat. Giga and Mega are ready to die again together with Devil Z, but Clouder informs them that Devil Z has been safely captured and will not be killed, so neither will they, and Ginrai happily tells them they're welcome to try to settle things with him some other time. In the end, the couple continues to run their restaurant and Mega is happily reunited with the Decepticon Headmaster Juniors, though Giga has to end the half-off offer when Ginrai starts eating there all the time.

Notes
- Ginrai recalls his encounter Giga and Mega on Bonapar Island in God Ginrai's Vol. EX as well as Devil Z's defeat at the hands of Blaster in Bonus Edition Vol. 36.
- Godbomber's armor was improved in "Late Xmas Present Chapter" in a nod to the shiny metallic finish on the toy from the God Ginrai set.
- Metroplex notes that Shinchōkon is what transported him to the Legends World back in Bonus Edition Vol. 12, the comic that introduced the concept of the Zamojin wish-granting energy.
- God Ginrai's powered up form is colored like the Fire Guts redeco of his original toy.
