Laserbeak (Cyberverse)

Laserbeak is a Decepticon from the Cyberverse continuity family.

Like some vast predatory...something or other, I dunno.

Laserbeak is a Cybertronian bird adopted by Soundwave as his partner.

Fun fact, this is the only time Laserbeak shows up in season 2. I guess he got a better agent before season 3 started filming.

Originally part of a flock, Laserbeak was captured by Soundwave, who gave him his name and role as his partner-in-crime. The Scientist

Believing the Decepticons had the Allspark, the Autobots launched an attack on the Nemesis. During the battle, Laserbeak got into a dogfight with Windblade. Dark Birth

Laserbeak returned to Cybertron along with the other Decepticons and pursued a recently escaped Chromia. Although he was knocked aside, Soundwave was able to detain the Autobot. Battle For Cybertron I During the subsequent Autobot-Decepticon battle, Laserbeak attacked Teletraan-X, only to get shot out of the sky by Whirl. Battle For Cybertron II

After infiltrating a Quintesson stronghold to free the Autobots and Decepticons imprisoned inside, Soundwave and Hot Rod managed to find the location of the control node holding their allies in a simulation. Restrained by a scientist, the former released Laserbeak to relay the information back to the Cybertronian resistance. The Scientist As the Autobot-Decepticon alliance battled a possessed Croaton, Laserbeak directed Windblade to an opening within the Titan. The End Of The Universe IV

As Megatron prepared to confront an alternate version of himself from another universe, Laserbeak monitored his conversation with Wildwheel and reported the interaction back to Soundwave and Shadow Striker. Silent Strike

When Trypticon’s Mercenaries froze Cybertron in time, Soundblaster unfroze Soundwave’s head in order to gloat. As part of his revenge, Soundblaster forcibly removed Laserbeak from Soundwave’s chest and forced him into his own. He later forced his way out of Soundblaster’s chest, and fought Buzzsaw in mid-air. He stole the Time Blaster from Soundblaster, but dropped it when Afterburner fired on him. He later returned to Soundwave’s chest as the Autobots and Decepticons celebrated the signing of the peace treaty. The Immobilizers

When Teletraan-X bothered Soundwave at the meeting of the ruling council at Iaconus, Soundwave deployed Laserbeak to chase the drone away. Later, when Soundwave attacked Tarn, he deployed Laserbeak to distract him. Following Soundwave’s sacrifice, Laserbeak mournfully landed where Soundwave had been, and later perched on Shadow Striker’s shoulder at Soundwave’s memorial. The Perfect Decepticon

Cyberverse Laserbeak extends from Soundwave's chest when his Action Attack is activated. Laserbeak is cast in translucent pink plastic with painted eyes and cannot actually detach from Soundwave.

• Soundwave (Deluxe Class, 2020)

A transforming minifigure of Laserbeak is included with Deluxe Soundwave, and can store in his chest or perch on his arm.

Laserbeak's transformation is pulled directly from his Siege counterpart, though lacking the neck articulation.
