Joe Siracusa (February 3, 1922 - November 13, 2021) was a music editor who worked on The Transformers. For six years starting in the late 40s, he was the drummer for novelty group Spike Jones and the City Slickers. He later moved into animation, editing Mr. Magoo cartoons and from there a multitude of other titles including Popeye the Sailor, Pink Panther shorts, Return to the Planet of the Apes and The Road Runner Show. In the late 70s, he began working for Marvel Productions and edited the music for shows such as The Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, G.I. Joe, and naturally Transformers.
