Story
The Autobots intercept a communication between Shockwave and Megatron regarding certain experiments of his that got loose and are on their way to Earth. The Autobots send you to investigate Shockwave's lab. Ratchet is in communication with you to help you gather information.
During your investigation you accessed data terminals, collected CNA samples, and reviewed security camera footage. Some of the experiments are still wandering around the lab as you make your way around.
Notable locations in Shockwave's lab include ENERGON Storage, Core Protoform Cryogenics, Stasis Lock Level, Biotechnology, CNA Replication Chamber, Spark Insertion Chamber, and the Main Research and Data Center.
You help the Autobots discover that Shockwave had discovered the CNA of an extinct Cybertronian species known as Predacons. He used the CNA to clone them, but they escaped and headed to Earth. You also uncover data on Predaking, Grimwing, Lazerback, Ripclaw, Skystalker, Vertebreak, Hun-Gurrr, Twinstrike, Rippersnapper, Blight, and Windrazor.
Ratchet informs you that the Autobots are preparing for the threat with new weaponry called Beast Gear. He uploads information to you regarding the capabilities of the Autobots Optimus Prime, Wheeljack, Bulkhead, Ratchet, Prowl, Trailcutter, Arcee, Ultra Magnus, and Huffer. He then thanks you for your service.

Gameplay
You use the mouse to scroll around the different sections of the lab looking for CNA samples and data terminals. The different sections of the lab require you to solve mini-games, which can be skipped if you want.
- The mini-game "Transformers Prime: Portal of Destruction" can be accessed via a terminal within Shockwave's lab.
Notes
- Huffer is mistakenly depicted with stock photos of Power Core Combiners Huffer.
- It is not entirely clear what species you are in this game. A quote from Ratchet suggests you are not human. "As the humans say, 'You are our eyes and ears on the ground.'"
- Despite being accessible from the Decepticon version of the website, which contains Decepticon games and whatnot, you are allied with the Autobots (see above).
