- Dirt Rocket is a Decepticon-allied Mini-Con from the Unicron Trilogy and Generation 1 continuity families.
Dirt Rocket is a member of the Dirt Digger Team, a band of rowdy roughnecks whose backwoods mannerisms mask their incredible skill as spies. He is a shameless opportunist and a coward at spark. His favorite hobby is to spy on others so that he can learn their secrets and use them for blackmail. However, Dirt Rocket's not much in the way of raw muscle, and will scurry away whenever confronted with any show of strength. Thankfully, his incredible speed allows him to go and hide behind his teammates in no time flat whenever one of his victims comes about looking for payback.[1]

Dirt Rocket and his Dirt Digger Team buddies were Mini-Cons created on Cybertron after the war with Unicron, by the power of the Last Autobot. Their purpose was to revitalize the planet for the Autobots' eventual return. Only problem was, not every Mini-Con liked the idea of cleaning house for someone else, only to get swept aside when the "adults" came home. A charismatic Mini-Con named Broadside began gathering like-minded Transformers to his cause — to prevent the Autobots from taking the planet from them — and Dirt Rocket and the Dirt Diggers signed up. Before the assassination "accident" that killed Modus Prime, Dirt Rocket was seen at Maccadam's Old Oil House conspiring with Broadside, Sledge, and Wideload. He and his Dirt Digger teammates were responsible for the next stage of the plan — modifying the trans-hyperwave caster tower. Normally, this tower sent out an "all clear" signal into space, inviting the Autobots to return to Cybertron. Broadside wanted it changed to a "quarantine" signal, warning off the Autobots from returning at all. Dirt Rocket and Oil Slick were caught in the act by Modus Prime's successor, the Dinobot commander Hacksaw. The duo and Grindor tried to fight him off, but 3 against 1 are easy odds for a Dinobot. The Dirt Diggers were saved by the arrival of Broadside, who fought Hacksaw over a ledge and sent him to his death. Unfortunately, the battle had damaged the equipment so badly that the quarantine signal couldn't be sent. Needing an explanation for Hacksaw's death, Broadside commanded Dirt Rocket and the others to flee so that he could paint them as unidentified assassins and saboteurs to the public. They only agreed because the other option was being highly identified corpses, killed while escaping justice. The New World

- Dirt Digger Team (Mini-Con Team, 2007)
- Released in the second wave of Classics Mini-Con three-packs, Dirt Rocket transforms into a racing motorcycle of undetermined, potentially-made-up model. As a Mini-Con, he has a "Powerlinx" socket on each side of his vehicle mode, allowing him to attach to larger toys with compatible Powerlinx plugs.
- There is a breakage issue with the arms on all versions of this mold; the thin plastic around the shoulder jointing has a distressing tendency to break. Exercise caution while transforming any version of this toy.
- He was only available as part of the Dirt Digger Team, Mini-Cons, packaged with his teammates Grindor and Oil Slick.
- An identical version of this toy was packaged with a special release of Cybertron Primus as Offshoot. The mold was also used to make Micron Booster Windrazor, and Universe Blight. It was also intended for a 2011 toy of unknown name which was canceled.
