Cyber-sleeve
From Transformers Wiki
Cyber-sleeves are mysterious devices bestowed on humans by the Emberstone. A cyber-sleeve forms a tele-emotional connection between the human wearing it and the Terrans, the Transformer species also created by the Emberstone. They take the form of a flexible metallic sleeve covering the human's arm and hand, with a light on the back of the hand which glows when an exceptionally powerful emotion is passed on.

When Robby and Mo Malto grabbed the Emberstone, it restrained their hands with green energy which coalesced to form their cyber-sleeves. Once Twitch and Thrash were created, the two kids quickly realized that the cyber-sleeves were letting them feel the Terrans' emotional states. When Robby and Twitch touched their hands together, the interaction caused a blinding light. Secret Legacy, Part 1 Robby was later able to sense through the link when Mo and Thrash were menaced by Arachnamechs. After Twitch and Thrash were abducted by Mandroid, Mo and Robby were able to sense which direction their emotions were coming from, leading the rescue team to Mandroid's base. Secret Legacy, Part 2
Learning that the Terrans had to feel safe and calm to transform, Bumblebee had Robby and Mo help Thrash regain his alternate mode. Moo-ving In While Robby was out looking for his father, Arachnamechs started chasing him with the aim of obtaining his cyber-sleeve. Traditions As Twitch and Thrash's energy began to deplete, their increasing mechanical malfunctions began leaking through the link to Robby and Mo, causing the two kids to physically flail about. The emotions transferring over the link cut off once the two Terrans entered the later stages of energy depletion, until they were able to recharge. Friends and Family After the Emberstone created Hashtag, Jawbreaker and Nightshade, the kids' cyber-sleeve link also extended to the three new Terrans. Age of Evolution, Part 2
When Hashtag found herself under the control of Mandroid, Robby and Mo were empowered, via their sleeves, by the same mysterious energy as the remaining Terrans that allowed them overcome Mandroid's control of her. While the Terrans liked the surge of power that went through them, Mo was worried by it. Home, Part 2
Robby discovered the ability to emit an energy shield from the sleeve and later the ability to generate an energy body that surrounds him to fight a holographic Megatron. The cyber-sleeves became deactivated and with the tele-emotional connection no longer functioning left the Terrans feeling alone for the first time. Disarmed An attempt to restore the cyber-sleeves using the cave water that powered the Terrans resulted in failure. What Dwells Within The power of the Emberstone sent Mo into a different state of reality via the cyber-sleeve, eventually resulting in her refinding her resolve and repowering both cyber-sleeves. Mo discovered the ability to emit a crystalline short sword from her sleeve. She also discovered the ability to possibly stop time. Prime Time
Mandroid was able to use the Cyber Slayer to drain power from both cyber-sleeves after capturing the kids, and subsequently used them to power his weapon of mass Cybertronian destruction. The Last Hope, Part 1 After Mandroid used said weapon to deactivate every Autobot, Decepticon and Terran on the planet, Robby and Mo channeled the power of Quintus through their cyber-sleeves to revive everyone. The Last Hope, Part 2
The empathic link created by the cyber-sleeves turned out to be a mixed blessing when Robby met Izzy and developed feelings which leaked through the link. Said feelings led to the discovery that Robby, Mo, Twitch and Thrash could combine via cyber-syncing. The Butterfly Effect Though Jawbreaker later discovered that the cyber-sleeves weren't necessary when he cyber-synced with Aftermath. Togetherness When Twitch and Spitfire swapped bodies, Spitfire was able to keep up the deception that she was Twitch partly due to the fact that Robby was unable to feel her emotions via the cyber-sleeve. The Imposters
When Starscream used the reconstituted Emberstone to take control of Terratronus, Robby and Mo were able to use their cyber-sleeves to erect a huge Chaos Dome over the Titan and a section of Witwicky. They also reclaimed the Emberstone, but their attempt to purify it resulted in it crumbling to dust. Witwicky, Part 2

Mo was able to use her cyber-sleeve to create an opening in the Chaos Dome, allowing egress in and out. The Need for Read She and Robby were also able to create enormously long cables to connect Prowl's ship to Terratronus's helm, providing a conduit for chaos lightning to repower the ship. No Soldier Left Behind
The Quintessons, believing that all gifts from Quintus Prime rightfully belonged to them, arrived on Earth seeking to obtain the cyber-sleeves. They forced Robby and Mo to turn themselves over and demanded the cyber-sleeves. Judgement Day, Part 1 Fortunately they were able to overcome the Quintessons via the power of cyber-syncing, and didn't have to give up their sleeves. Judgement Day, Part 2
