Maybe I'm craaaazy(bolt)...

Crazybolt (クレイジーボルト Kureijīboruto) is neither very fast nor very strong, so he's usually the first Predacon to run away when danger rears its head. The other thing he does quickly is talk: an habitual prevaricator, he tells lies like it's second nature to him, coming up with new ones on the fly and delivering them with the confidence of a practised con-man. Unfortunately for him, his reputation as a liar is well-known among the Predacons, making him hard to trust even when he's being genuine.

Crazybolt and his partner Bazooka were once members of Magmatron's unit, but parted ways with them under undivulged circumstances. After some time on their own, the pair used masks to disguise themselves as Maximals and stole an old Maximal ship. With it, they docked on Space Station 424, where they spotted Big Convoy's ship, the Gung Ho. Hoping to get back into Magmatron's good graces, the two again disguised themselves and snuck into the Gung Ho while its crew was enjoying some R&R in the base. There, they referred to themselves as the base's guards, "Erimaoinarin the Fox" and "Darumajiro the Armadillo", to NAVI. When NAVI noted that an unmanned base shouldn't have any such personnel, Crazybolt quickly shifted their story to being inspectors of navigational-type computers and ordered NAVI to launch the ship, which NAVI refused to do without Big Convoy's direct order. Their ploy foiled, Crazybolt then put on a story of "Darumajiro" becoming a Predacon, a disease that would soon affect other Maximals. Convinced by the show "Erimaoinarin" put on of becoming a Predacon, NAVI launched the ship to force a quarantine of the "plague".

Once they were far enough, the two "inspectors" revealed their true identities to NAVI and the computer was caged. The two contacted Magmatron about their success and Guiledart was wary of Crazybolt, considering his dishonest reputation, and agreed to believe him only if they met at the rendezvous point with the Gung Ho and its cargo of Angolmois Capsules. Unbeknownst to them, Big Convoy had already used the Seagull to catch up to them and broke in. Big Convoy fooled the two into thinking he set up a bomb in the cargo room that would completely destroy the ship and the Predacons were lured into the ship's hologram room, where Big Convoy used the two as "training partners" while NAVI did the appropriate resetting to the computer systems. Once the other Maximals made it to the Gung Ho with Bazooka and Crazybolt's stolen ship, the duo were kicked back to their old ship. They limped to the rendezvous point with the Dinosaur, where Magmatron simply ordered the ship's cannons to be fired on the pathetic pair. The Stolen Gung Ho

After the defeat of Unicron, Crazybolt returned to Cybertron. There, he attended a meal hosted by Artemis. Graduation Ceremony!!

Crazy for feeling...so lonelyyyyy...

Crazybolt was part of a group of rampaging Cybertronians during the Angolmois-induced riots on Cybertron. The Ascending #4

Beast Wars: Uprising

Crazybolt was a Predacon junior engineer aboard the starship Dinosaur. When a distress signal from a prison ship was detected on LGC-8803, he was tapped to join an away team to investigate the planet. Their shuttle was damaged before landing thanks to the Destructons, prompting a conflict with the Second-Born Intellects. Crazybolt and his crew met up with Trans-Mutate and Rampage, the prisoners who survived the first ship's crash, and they learned about Lord Imperious Delirious's plans. Crazybolt fought against the Destructons until Imperious was seemingly beaten.

Having learned about the Grand Uprising back home, Crazybolt and several other protoformers from the Dinosaur chose to return and fight in the Resistance. Crazybolt and helm specialist Bazooka had also forged a close bond during their struggles on the planet, and soon became Conjunx Endura. Intersectionality

Although they joined the Resistance as a unit under Magmatron, Crazybolt and his crewmates still remained somewhat independent. When an alien threat was uncovered by their ally Rampage, the unit abandoned the Resistance's goals to eliminate the so-called Antares Eight. Afterwards, Crazybolt and Bazooka joined their lose mix of proto-formers and Builders as an independent unit known as the Ex-Bots, separate from the Resistance and fighting to preserve the peace in contested Proximax, looking after the civilian population in times of war. Cultural Appropriation

When the Vehicon Apocalypse threatened to overwhelm the planet, the Ex-Bots joined the surviving armies in advancing on the Grand Mal. Bazooka and the Constructicons had renovated a lobotomized Sweep as the Ex-Bots' Ex-Jet, allowing them easy access to the battleground. During the final conflict at the Grand Mal, Bazooka and Crazybolt were manning the Ex-Jet, taking shots at the floating fortress. They determined the Mal's force field was energy resistant, but weak against ballistic projectiles and solid firepower. Bazooka came up with a suicide ploy to ram the Ex-Jet itself into the Grand Mal's intakes, but refused to take Crazybolt with him. He shoved his conjunx out of the ship and successfully crashed into the Grand Mal, severely damaging its force field.

In the aftermath of battle, Crazybolt mourned the loss of Bazooka with Magmatron and Snapper. Derailment
