- Buzzsaw is a Mercenary Mini-Cassette from the Cyberverse continuity family.
Buzzsaw is a Cybertronian bird and the loyal partner of the Mercenary Soundblaster.
Fiction

Buzzsaw joined the Mercenaries in a raid on the planet Cybertron. After the group used their time blaster to freeze the planet, Buzzsaw did some quick recon on the surface before returning to rejoin Soundblaster. Later, during a scuffle between the Mercenaries and the Dinobots, fellow bird Laserbeak managed to escape and joined the battle. Buzzsaw pursued him, but he was accidentally brought down by a shot from Soundblaster meant for Laserbeak. Things came to a head when Mercenary leader Trypticon entered the fray, but when the Dinobots took him down too, the Mercenaries decided to cut their losses and escaped the planet, leaving poor Buzzsaw behind. Some time later, Buzzsaw and Laserbeak were pleasantly enjoying perching on the time-locked form of his old boss, now converted into "Trypticon Plaza". The Perfect Decepticon
Notes
- Like the other Cyberverse Mercenaries, Buzzsaw's model is a recolour of an existing character. In his case, that's Laserbeak.
