Buster is a Mastiff owned by Sam Witwicky. This means he gets to hang out with Wheelie and Brains.

Buster was forced to live out on the balcony of Sam and Carly's apartment, along with the two Autobots. He agreed with Wheelie that this was unfair. Unfortunately when Sam got a job and started getting involved with the other Autobots again, Buster was neglected and started leaving presents on the floor. Dark of the Moon (novel)
Notes
- Sam's dog in the finalized film was Bonecrusher. In the comic adaptation of the film, the Mastiff is replaced with Mojo and Frankie.
