Black Room

The Black Room is the code name of Prowl's quarters in Iacon. It is spacious, isn't overlooked and has the potential for a large sky-light.

Fiction

2005 IDW continuity

After Cybertron was reformatted into a primordial state, the Constructicons built a new city where Iacon had once stood. The city had a space port, medi-center and large areas of residential buildings required by the returning population. When Megatron plotted his return he used the mind controlled Prowl's new quarters as base of operations, giving it the codename 'The Black Room'. Prowl was able to ensure the room was not connected to the city's surveillance grid while he and Arcee gathered supposedly dead Decepticons there for repairs, upgrades and further plotting. The room was fitted with numerous CR chambers, computers and viewscreens in order to accomplish this. Prowl was further humiliated by being modified to act as Devastator's head and when the new team combined the roof of the Black Room was ripped open by the huge gestalt. The way now clear, Megatron used the technology in the room to project a Decepticon insignia onto Cybertron's remaining moon. The End of the Beginning of the World Before the Dawn

Bumblebee further damaged the retail value by firing on the CR chamber power couplings in order to escape from Megatron. Though Megatron and his group survived the explosion the Black Room was set ablaze and was abandoned to its fate. Plan for Everything
