Auto-avatar
From Transformers Wiki
Auto-avatars (オートアバター ōtoabatā) are mechanical constructs used as vessels to contain the higher-dimensional essence of a being of the Alternity species. They are used to provide a means for the species to interact with material worlds of various universal streams. Their physical capabilities are comparable to the denizens of Cybertron, having both an alternate mode and a robot mode, though several technological advancements have been worked into their structures. Most auto-avatars utilize an alternate mode physically similar to an Earth sports car, due to the ease of integrating such forms with the dimension-traveling engines known as Timaeus drives. Within each auto-avatar is a hyper-frame composed of the rare multidimensional material alternium, serving to link the construct to the essence of the being controlling it.
A single Alternity will often have several auto-avatars, often in varying color schemes. A given auto-avatar tends to channel a specific facet of the Alternity it is linked to, winnowing their perspective down to a single one of their incarnations. Individual auto-avatars are typically identified by a vector number, such as the "Vector-704" designation that Nemesis Prime's auto-avatar bears.
