Aquafend
From Transformers Wiki
- Aquafend is an Autobot Aquaspeeder from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Some would say that delving too deeply into the Decepticon mindset is not a good idea. Aquafend would disagree, and it certainly hasn't had any negative affects on him. The Aquaspeeders' intelligence expert, he's made it his mission to know exactly what the Decepticons are thinking in order to come up with the most effective countermeasures for their evil plans, if not stop them before they even have a chance to start.
Of course, the fact that his own brother, Jetstorm, has turned 'Con probably plays into it a bit.
Aquafend is a renowned expert in espionage, particularly in the field of disguise. No matter how rugged the terrain, he's willing to go deep into enemy-held territory to find out their latest diabolical scheme. And if he gets caught? He's got the hydro-power to blast his way free if it comes to it.

Wings Universe
Aquafend and his twin brother Jetstorm were brought to life on Earth in the 21st century at one of the Cyberfactories. They grew apart as the Cybertronian Wars returned to Earth and Aquafend joined Pyro's Autobots while Jetstorm became part of Clench's Decepticon Syndicate. The two sides clashed at the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland, but the Autobots were overwhelmed by the new model Sharkticons and forced to retreat. After regrouping, Aquafend and Scorch led the main Autobot force in a frontal attack on the Collider facility, distracting the Syndicate so that Rapido's smaller unit could sneak in the back way. They managed to hold out long enough for reinforcements to arrive from Autobot City.Once the Autobot team was large enough to hold the line, Aquafend led a smaller unit to split off from the battle and enter the complex. He and Gobots charged in to rescue the human hostages inside the Collider, but ran into his evil brother and his partner, Deluge. Their feud was interrupted by the fast-spreading forestonite gas, which mutated all Transformers present into super-powered new forms. Aquafend developed the power to generate freezing energy from his fists. The fight soon turned against the Decepticons and they fled, leaving the hostages alive and the Autobots more powerful than ever. Generation 2: Redux
Not trusting these strange new powers, Cliffjumper made Aquafend demonstrate his ice streams on Decepticon dummy targets alongside a number of other Autobots. A Flash Forward #2 Aquafend joined Pyro's team as they investigated the Quantum Laboratories break-in. A Flash Forward #3 A clue on Nebulos led them to Qre, where they were attacked by a training system and then captured by Jhiaxus and his Sharkticons. A Flash Forward #4 This meant they were subjected to Jhiaxus's speeches. A Flash Forward #5 After they were freed by Sideswipe, Aquafend went to zap Jhiaxus, but was warned by Pyro that Jhiaxus was holding Hi-Q in his chest compartment. After rescuing Hi-Q and destroying Jhiaxus's base, the Autobots returned to Earth. A Flash Forward #6

Interiors
Later, Aquafend and Drift busted their way into Cyclonus and Tailgate's room, ready to confront whatever was causing the horrific noise they could hear coming from inside. Fortunately the horrific noise was just the patriot Cyclonus singing "Glory to Cybertron, glinting in the heavens" in Old Cybertronian with a heavy Tetrahexian accent. Cybertronian Homesick Blues When Overlord escaped from the slow cell stowed beneath the Lost Light, Aquafend joined in battling him. Under Cold Blue Stars
Aquafend remained on as part of the Lost Light's security force following the ship's return to Cybertron and Megatron subsequently becoming captain. About six months later, he was part of a security team alongside Streetwise, Groove, Ultra Magnus, and Megatron himself that responded when Trailcutter tripped a silent alarm breaking into the ship's medibay. Megatron dismissed Aquafend and the others, preferring to deal with the situation in his own way. Words Hang in the Air
