[edit]After you resysopped them, they proceeded to unjustifiably hide (revdel) their last 11 log entries. Since we also don't usually grant admin access to users who are not also admins on some production wiki, I have undone the addition of admin rights as a precaution. - I have granted the rights since there have been no problems in the first month with sysop rights. But I agree that hiding logs without a good reason is not something that we want. From my side no concerns about undoing the addition of sysop rights. --Ameisenigel (talk) 09:12, 7 August 2024 (UTC)

- You should not revdel any tests. If you use some pages for tests you can delete them after you are done, but you should never revdel your logs because it makes it difficult to see what has been done. --Ameisenigel (talk) 08:44, 2 September 2024 (UTC)

Temporary user IP
[edit]Hey Ameisenigel. Regarding Special:Permalink/620640: in Special:AbuseFilter/examine/863786 the value (that I see) of user_unnamed_ip is null. And I also couldn't find where to check for user Special:Contributions/~2024-7886's IP, which is supposed to be my own IP address, 68.x.x.x. Is that tool enabled yet, you know? - Thanks! I found a page on MediaWiki site that says there are some user preferences that need to be turned on. So I did that. The filter still doesn't work, but I'll ask our developers what's wrong with that. I saw this user right that only bureaucrats can give, and first thought that might be it.
