A space flight programming adventure game. Unlock the potential of your spacecraft by hacking on the code that makes it tick. Watch the trailer.
This game is still in development.
Linux versions require installing the LÖVE
game engine; (version 0.10.2).
Take a look at the in-game manual to get a feel for how it works.

This game was made by an insane backend wizard, it plays a bit like trying to install arch-linux but all you have is a single input engine CLI in a spaceship. 4/5, spent more time looking at the code in my IDE. Thanks for this little gem!
Your game and fennel was awesome to play, made me toy with merging other cool expandable languages with love2d and luajit, if Lua Lisp=Fennel what would Lua Forth=?
very cool!
Am I missing something obvious here? I can't log into the Solotogo computer with the details provided for the "Access memory card" mission
EDIT: Turns out the password is "mendaciouspolyglottal", not "mendanciouspolyglottal" like the email says.
Hey bro any updates soon? I love this demo
New to the game and I like it so far. I have a problem though. I can zoom out with '-' but '=' doesn't appear to do anything. I'm on German Qwertz layout so that's probably the reason, however I have yet to find the equivalent key.
This game is really interesting! Just wondering, is the current api final (except maybe new features) or could it change at any time? I might try to create an autopilot script, because I had a lot of trouble getting to the first station (although I didn't realise I could just get close and latch onto the station and not worry about orbits). Keep up the good work!
Also, I wasn't able to figure out how to create a new file (the manual for "map" said you could) so I had to resort to editing the savefile to create the new script. I also don't remember Ctrl S being mentioned in the manual, but that might just be me. I was kinda confused at first when Ctrl R didn't enable the map correctly, then I went back and pressed Ctrl S for both src.map and src.config. Then it worked.
I’m glad you like the game! The last beta release was in 2017, so it’s really not under active development any more. I would like to pick it up again some day, but it might be a year or two before that happens. If it does, it’s quite likely that the API would change significantly. I have a branch where all the default in-game code is ported to Fennel instead of being written in Lua, though Lua is still available. We’ll see!
I don't know if I missed it, bu how do I save?
Saving happens automatically when you quit; you shouldn’t need to worry about it.
I love this!! So much character and such a great idea. Wish you all the best with its development.
The OS X version is hanging on load sadly :(
Still the case with Mojave 10.14.6. Going to try Linux.
I've wanted a game exactly like this for so long, great work keep it up!
Wow! what a great game! keep on it, I'm loving it!
Wow. I just want to say, I really like this game. When I first saw this page, I thought like I would drop it really fast but I actually really liked it and got the hang of the basics quite fast. I dont know if all passengers missions would have led to the same thing but I really like where this is going.
So yeah, great job ! :D
Interesting game, noticed you can "fall out" of the console, possibly if you forget to logout and leave a station? only way to get the ship colsole back seems to be to login/out of a station
email mentions a file, no ls/dir command?? ctr-o open file just opens a screen editor without option to navigate/specify a file ??
worth working on to meet the player half way, could be an interesting game...
edit: this has been fixed
Thanks for the feedback! The console login behavior should be clearer in the next beta, and I'll add an "ls" function; that would help a lot. I also agree that the interface when you press ctrl-o could be a lot nicer--I hope to address that in a future release too.
Thanks for being understanding that the game is still in beta.
highly intriging game. Keep up the good job !
This is a beautiful concept. I believe this could be a new direction in gaming.
Will definitely continue following your project and try to tell others about it. Nice work!
Really excited about this. Not familiar enough with LUA to have written anything useful in the repl but it was fun to play around in. Looking forward to seeing how it progresses <3
Any plans to upload an easily runnable versions for people unfamilair with git / command-line tools? I realize updating is a hassle but I'm sure you'd get more feedback this way (if you want to)!
Thanks for your interest! Just published an alpha release with downloads for Windows/Mac/Linux; please let me know if you get a chance to try it out.
