FUMES is a single-player game inspired by the golden era of vehicular combat genre. Straight-forward, fast paced, intense gameplay. Get into the car, slap some weapons on and cruise twisted wastes.
No bullscrap. Just you, your car and pure fun. Like in the old days!

Linux and macOS support
Please keep in mind that MacOS and Linux support is experimental. We really wanted to let people try the game on these platforms, but we don't have a good way of testing the game on these systems, so expect the unexpected! If you encounter any issues let us know on our discord.

We changed the name of files to demo because we released it on the Steam as a demo as well, but it has all feature currently developed for the game. It's more like a pre-pre-alpha... just play it :)

This game doesn't work for me with an M1 Mac, not sure if I am doing something wrong but it just says "The Application FUMES can't be opened." there is no option in my settings to change any privacy settings to let it run
perhaps, this game implements extremely interesting mechanics for me. I wish you further development and hope that the game will be translated into other languages)

I just finished the demo on steam deck today and this is already one of my most anticipated upcoming games ever!!!! looking at the roadmap has me so giddy too I was definitely looking at the buzzsaw car enemies and hoping for melee combat options! Thank you to the whole fumes team so much for putting out this awesome demo I would very gladly pay for a steam early access version whenever the game is anywhere near ready!
In the most optimistic scenario, how long will it take you, guys, to finish developing this game?
Very nice game! I love it! Its like Hard Truck Apocalypse, but newer. It will be even more fun if a plot appears, voice accompaniment will be added to random phrases of enemies (similar to phrases when entering battle). I also think it will be cooler if random enemies appear, and also the sale and purchase of spare parts. I hope that something else will appear at the release besides the usual rides around the vast world and shooting enemies, let's say some quests. All of this would make the game perfect for me. I already liked the demo, but I hope for the future.
Could you add an FPS cap option in game's settings?

I JUST SAW THE PC GAMING SHOW AND COULDN'T BELIEVE MY EYES. I remember downloading the first demo years ago and playing it for hours, it was so much fun. Very excited for this full release, and congrats! This is huge!
W game
When I first downloaded FUMES, I was expecting boring gameplay. But as soon as I installed and tried it, I realized: “this is what I was looking for!” I've almost finished the game. One of the best games for me this year! I propose to do localization into other languages, online playing in co-op and management settings. Good luck with the development of the project, thanks for your work :)

Honestly it's been a WHILE since I had this much fun with a game, and I'm not even done with the demo yet. Mildly obsessed now. Added to wishlist and will definitely be there for future releases, hell yes. MY game of the year :D
The thing is, after Dune Master, I found it a bit boring... I mean, what do I need for it to be countered!?!?
Pro tip: With bosses, attack the bosses's sidekicks. When all are defeated, you get a small health boost.
Sat here for four hours hooked to this demo, cant wait for the full game.

Finished last boss at 5 hours mark and I had a lot of fun while I did it. I dig the art style and gameplay is a lot of fun, so I'm totally waiting for future releases! The only complaint that I really have is that the gameplay loop can get repetitive thorough playtime, so some sort of variation would be really nice to see.

I played v0.05! I was able to play for a full 7 hours and had so much fun!
I love the idea of pushing with durability and firepower in a car with lots of turrets! Firepower is justice, meow!
I also liked the fact that you can design your car's paint job in a very detailed way.
I'm cheering for the completion of the game!
