Create a script
Use scripts in Vids record with a teleprompter in the Vids recording studio.
- On your computer, open a video in Google Vids.
- Above the timeline, click Script
to open the script sidebar.
- Tip: If you use the Gemini feature, you can also use ‘'Help me create” to generate a first draft of your video. It includes a suggested script by scene. You can edit and update generated scripts or write your own after you add new scenes. If you use “Help me create,” you can also add your own scripts or update generated scripts. - Write a script in the side panel.

- On your computer, open a video Google Vids.
- Above the timeline, click Script
- To manually record your script, below the script panel, click Record myself.
