Share songs from a shared media library in Music on Mac
You can set up a maximum of five computers on a local network (such as a home Wi-Fi network) to share their media libraries with each other. If a shared computer is turned on and Music is open, you can play that computer’s shared items on other computers in the network but you can’t import the shared items into their libraries.
If you want to import items from media libraries on other computers in your home network, you can turn on Home Sharing. See Import media using Home Sharing in Music.
Share your library with other computers
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click General in the sidebar, then click Sharing on the right. (You may need to scroll down.)

To require users to enter a password before your shared items appear, select Require Password, then enter a password.
