Use iCloud with your MacBook Air
With iCloud, you can keep your information up to date on all your devices, and collaborate with friends and family. Your MacBook Air works seamlessly with your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple Watch when you use iCloud and sign in to each of them with the same Apple ID.
If you didn’t turn on iCloud when you first set up your Mac, open System Settings, then click “Sign in with your Apple ID” in the sidebar. After you are signed in, click iCloud, then turn iCloud features on or off. Access your content across devices. With iCloud, you can securely store, edit, and share your documents, photos, and videos across devices to make sure you’re always up to date. To get started, see Access your iCloud content on your Mac.
Use your MacBook Air with other devices. Seamlessly move content between your MacBook Air and other devices using Continuity. Just sign in on each device with your Apple ID, and whenever your MacBook Air and devices are near each other, they work together in convenient ways. For instance, you can start a task on one device and finish it on another, use your iPhone as a webcam for your MacBook Air, stream your screen to another Mac or Apple TV with AirPlay, set up your iPad to work side by side your MacBook Air with Sidecar, and more. Do more with iCloud . iCloud is a subscription service that gives you more space to store your photos, files, and more. You can share your iCloud storage plan through Family Sharing. iCloud also includes iCloud Private Relay, HomeKit Secure Video, and custom email domains for your Mail address on iCloud.com.
