Remove downloaded Apple News issues in News on Mac
If issues from your Apple News subscription are downloaded to your Mac, you can remove them from My Magazines or delete them from your Mac at any time.
Note: Apple News and Apple News aren’t available in all countries or regions. See the Apple Support article Availability of Apple Media Services.
In the News app on your Mac, click News or an Apple News channel in the sidebar (if you don’t see the sidebar, click in the toolbar).
Locate a downloaded issue you want to remove.
Click the ellipsis below the issue cover, choose Remove, then click one of the following:
Remove Download: Delete the issue from your Mac.
Remove from My Magazines: Remove the issue from My Magazines on your Mac, and from any device where you get Apple News and News is turned on in iCloud preferences.
If you don’t delete downloaded Apple News issues yourself, they remain on your Mac until it requires more disk space or you choose Clear All when you clear your reading history, at which time they’re deleted.
You can remove an issue from My Magazines, even if it hasn’t been downloaded. Click the ellipsis below the issue cover, choose Remove, then click Remove from My Magazines.
