Use Siri to control Apple TV from your HomePod, iPhone, or iPad
You can use Siri on a HomePod, or on an iOS or iPadOS device, to play items or open apps on Apple TV.
For example, you can ask Siri on your dining room HomePod to get a movie or TV show started on Apple TV in the living room.
When making your request, make sure to reference “TV” or, if you’re in a different room, the room name that you assigned Apple TV in the Home app on your iOS or iPadOS device.
Siri: On your HomePod, iOS, or iPadOS device, say something like:
“Play ‘Ted Lasso’ on the TV”
“Play ‘Uptown Funk’ on the living room TV”
“Watch Season 1, Episode 5 of ‘The Mosquito Coast’ in the living room”
“Open Paramount on the TV”
