Adjust Music app settings on Apple TV
There are a few settings you can use to control how music and video is played back in the Apple Music app on Apple TV.
Tip: To show your screen saver while listening to music, go to Settings on Apple TV, go to Screen Saver, then select Show During Music and Podcasts to set it to Yes.
Go to Settings on Apple TV.
Go to Apps > Music, then adjust any of the settings listed below.

Description
Add Playlist Songs to Library
Turn on to automatically add any songs you add to playlists to your Apple Music library.
Add Favorite Songs to Library
Turn on to automatically add items you mark as favorite to your Apple Music library.
Top Shelf
Sets what appears on the Home Screen when the Apple Music app is highlighted in the top row.
Choose Video Playlists to see music videos, or Library Top Albums to see your favorite music.
Dolby Atmos
Set to Automatic to listen to supported songs in Dolby Atmos and other Dolby audio formats when connected to HomePod or other compatible audio receivers or speakers.
Audio Quality
Select to see options for audio quality.
Choose between High Quality (AAC) or Lossless (ALAC up to 24-bit/48 kHz). Lossless files preserve every detail of the original audio. Support for lossless files depends on song availability, network conditions, and speaker capability.
Sound Check
Turn on to automatically adjust volume so that all songs are played at roughly the same volume.
Use Listening History
Turn on to have music you listen to on your Apple TV appear in Recently Played, influence your recommendations, and be seen by your followers if you set up an Apple Music profile.
